Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy is a short-term method that helps you identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings. It challenges the rationale of those feelings, and helps you to replace them with a healthier belief system.


REBT focuses mostly on recent situations to help you understand how your unhealthy thoughts and those beliefs can create emotional distress which, in turn, leads to actions and behaviors that interferes with your daily life.
The ABC Theory of REBT

1. A is for Adversity
2. B is for Belief
3. C is for Consequences
​
Formula C= A x B
​
The Consequences are the product of the Adversity and your Beliefs (emotions and behaviors) about it.
